A major component of every piece of our gear is a very dynamic component we call the Body Link System. It is an enormously strong membrane, which, when filled with air creates a very unstable surface. It is this instability that causes the user to engage all of their core muscles in order to maintain their balance. Throw in some weights and you have the best formula ever devised for not only building your extremity muscles (shoulders, arms chest, abs and so on) at the same time you are greatly enhancing coordination, balance and agility.
Physical Trainers, Therapist and Physiologist have long known the enormous benefits behind 'working out' on unstable surfaces. Although, until now, using an exercise ball was the only way to achieve this. The Problem is: Exercise balls offer a very limited surface area, making it difficult to perform more than a few different routines.
Exercise balls are very weak, therefore it is not only extremely dangerous to progressively increase the amount of weight being used, but borderline crazy to even attempt to get into a set position with more than a few pounds.

One of the direct advantages to using the Vicore benches is what physiologists call eccentric training which is the force places on muscles when the weight is being lowered or brought back to its starting position. The more force that can be exerted during this return the faster you reach muscle failure which is the result zone.
